For wall contractors

Your wall. Engineered.

You know how your crews build. Bring us the wall style you like to build and we design around it. If the calculations work, we seal it your way, instead of handing you someone else's section to learn on the job.

Built the way your crew builds

There is more than one good way to build a retaining wall. We don't insist on ours.

Your style, your detailsFace, batter, stone, footing or block system: tell us what you build and we size it for the site, the soil and the loads.
Calcs that fit the wallSliding, overturning, bearing and global stability are checked on your section. If it needs more base or more embedment, we tell you where and why.
Your details stay yoursYour wall style is your business. We don't pass one contractor's details to another.

Wall types we design

A few of the sections we have designed and sealed, drawn here as simple profiles. Every job is sized to its own plans, geotech report and wall heights.

Don't see your wall? Send a sketch or a past detail. If the calculations work, we can design it.

How it works

Your wall section and the grading plan are enough to get started.

STEP 1

Send plans and your section

Grading plan, geotech report if there is one, and a photo, sketch or past detail of the wall you want to build.

STEP 2

We run the numbers

Your section is checked for each wall height and load on the job, global stability included where the walls call for it.

STEP 3

We tell you what changes

If something has to change to work, you hear it up front, with the option that keeps closest to how you build.

STEP 4

Sealed plans

Wall plans, schedules and details your crew can build from, sealed for permit and construction.

Questions contractors ask

Do I have to build your wall section?

No. If you have a style you like, we design around it. We also have our own sections if you want one.

What if my style doesn't work for a wall on this job?

We tell you which wall and what it needs: a wider base, more embedment, better drainage or a different type for that height. You pick the fix before anything is sealed.

Can you design to a block manufacturer's system?

Yes. Send the product and we design to it, including geogrid where the system uses it.

Will my details show up on another contractor's job?

No. Your wall style and details stay with your jobs.

Do you handle global stability?

Yes. Tall walls, tiered walls, walls on slopes and walls next to ponds get a global stability check from the geotech report, sealed with the wall design.

What do you need to start?

The grading plan, the geotech report if there is one, and your typical section or a photo of a wall you have built. PDFs are fine.
